Tuesday: Who Is in Your Story?

Reflection: Most of us did not come to know Jesus in isolation. Somewhere in our story is a person God used. Maybe someone invited you to church, answered your questions, prayed for you, taught you as a child, or simply lived a faith you could see was genuine. Romans asks, “How can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?” God is the One who saves, but He regularly chooses ordinary people to carry His good news into someone else’s life. Think for a moment about your own story. Who helped bring Jesus close enough for you to hear, understand, or believe? They may never have realized how significant their faithfulness would become. Gratitude for those people should do more than make us thankful for the past. It can open our eyes to the possibility that God now wants to use us in someone else’s story.
