Reflection: The woman at the well had only just encountered Jesus when she hurried back to town saying, “Come, see a man.” She did not have years of spiritual maturity or answers to every question. She simply knew she had encountered Someone worth telling others about. Levi responded similarly. After Jesus called him, he opened his home and filled his table with people who needed to meet Jesus too. There is something beautiful about that instinct. Grace had reached them, and almost immediately they began thinking about other people. We sometimes make sharing our faith more complicated than it needs to be. You do not need a perfect story before you can point someone toward Jesus. You can invite. You can share what Christ has meant to you. You can say, in your own way, “Come and see.” The table Jesus gave us was never meant just for us.
Application Question: Who is already in your life that you could naturally invite to take one step closer to encountering Jesus?
