Reflection: Peter ends with a promise: as these qualities grow, you will not be ineffective or unfruitful in knowing Jesus, and God will richly provide entrance into his eternal kingdom. This is not a promise that you will never stumble or that growth earns your welcome. It is an invitation to keep following the One who called you. You may not see dramatic change by Friday. Still, a truthful apology, a resisted temptation, a patient response, or a new act of care can be evidence that grace is at work. Look back over this week without comparing your growth to someone else’s. Where did God help you take one faithful step? Thank him for it, and ask him to keep forming you. Then consider who could walk with you in the next step. Christian growth is personal, but it is never meant to be isolated. Return together to Jesus this week.
Application Question: Where have you seen even a small sign of growth this week, and who could encourage you as you take your next step?
