Reflection: Peter says the false teachers had hearts “trained in greed.” That word should get your attention because training happens through repetition. You become stronger at whatever you practice. The same is true spiritually. Every time you rehearse bitterness, indulge lust, surrender to anger, or chase approval, you make that response more deeply familiar. But the opposite is also true. Every time you pause before reacting, choose generosity, tell the truth, open Scripture, pray, forgive, or serve, you are training your heart toward Jesus. Growth rarely feels dramatic in the moment. It often looks like small acts of obedience repeated long enough to reshape your instincts. Do not despise those small choices today. They are not meaningless. They are building pathways. Grace has already given you what you need; your part is to practice what grace makes possible. One faithful repetition today can become part of a very different direction tomorrow.

Application Question: What response do you want to become more natural in your life, and what small act can you practice today to train that direction?
