Reflection: The final word in this passage is not suffering, pressure, or opposition. The final word is victory. Jesus suffered for sins, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now reigns over all authority and power. That means your faithfulness is not wasted, even when doing good appears to cost you. The cross looked like defeat, but God used it to accomplish redemption. Your season may contain purposes you cannot yet see. You do not have to live as though the outcome is uncertain. Jesus is not struggling to remain in control. He remains on the throne. Because of that, you can face pressure without surrendering your hope. You can keep doing good when it goes unnoticed. You can endure misunderstanding without becoming bitter. Today, bring pressure to Christ and remember who won. You are not fighting for victory; you are learning to live from the victory Jesus has secured.

Application Question: What pressure would look different if you approached it from Christ’s victory rather than fear of the outcome?
