Reflection: Before Peter tells you to grow, he reminds you what God has already given. You are not being asked to manufacture a Christian life from your own willpower. God’s power has supplied what you need for life and godliness, and his promises invite you to share in the life he gives. That changes how you begin this week. When you open Scripture, apologize, resist an old habit, or serve someone quietly, you are not trying to persuade God to love you. You are responding to a love already shown in Jesus. Think of the difference between trying to earn a place at the table and living gratefully because you have been welcomed. You can take the next step without pretending you are strong enough on your own. Ask God to make his provision real to you today, then notice one ordinary place where his grace gives you courage to obey.
Application Question: Where do you most need to remember that God has already supplied what you need to take the next faithful step?
