Reflection: Peter knew the believers already understood the truth he was teaching. Still, he told them
he intended to keep reminding them. That matters because spiritual drift rarely begins when you
suddenly reject everything you believe. More often, it begins when something true becomes familiar
enough that you stop letting it shape your life. You know forgiveness matters, but you keep the grudge.
You know prayer matters, but it becomes the last resort. You know generosity matters, but fear keeps
your hands closed. The question is not simply, “Do I know this?” The better question is, “Is this truth
changing how I live today?” God may not need to show you something brand new this morning. He may
want to bring something familiar back into focus. Spiritual maturity is not always learning more.
Sometimes it is returning to what God has already said and choosing to live like you believe it.

Application Question: What truth from Scripture do you already know but need to bring back into the
center of how you are living this week?
