Reflection: Peter names qualities that grow from faith: goodness, knowledge, self-control, endurance, godliness, affection, and love. It is tempting to treat them as boxes to check, then feel discouraged when you are not impressive at all of them. But growth is usually less like a finished list and more like a garden you tend over time. You may notice self-control tested in a conversation, endurance needed through a long season, or love required when someone has disappointed you. The Spirit meets you in those ordinary moments. Ask which quality is most needed in one relationship today. Before you answer sharply, pause and pray. Before you withdraw, make the call. Before you assume the worst, listen. You are not climbing toward God by your own strength; you are practicing the life his grace has begun in you. Small steps of love matter. That is where faith becomes visible in ordinary places today.

Application Question: Which quality named in 2 Peter is God inviting you to practice in one specific relationship or conversation today?
