Reflection:
Jesus connects prayer to forgiveness and protection because your life with God is never separated from your life with others or your daily battle against sin. You cannot ask for nearness with the Father while nursing distance, bitterness, or pride in your heart. The fellowship room asks, “Who needs mercy from me because I have received mercy from God?” Then the leadership room teaches you to confess your weakness before temptation becomes a fall. You are not strong enough to lead yourself safely, but you are not abandoned to yourself either. The Father leads, warns, corrects, and delivers. Today, pray with honesty. Name the person you need to forgive. Name the temptation you have been managing instead of fleeing. Ask God to lead you away from what will harm you and toward what will make you whole. This is where prayer becomes surrender, healing, and freedom. Walk through that door.

Application Question:
What temptation, bitterness, or pattern have you been trying to manage instead of asking the Father to lead you away from it?
