Friday: Set Apart on the Road

Reflection: Peter’s greeting is more than a polite opening. He says you are chosen by the Father, sanctified by the Spirit, cleansed by the blood of Jesus, and called to obedience. That means your identity is stronger than your circumstances and your calling is clearer than your feelings. You do not obey Jesus to earn your place with God. You obey because God has already set His love on you and made you His own. Grace does not make obedience unnecessary; it makes obedience possible. When the road feels long, you may be tempted to drift or blend in. But you have been set apart, not set aside. Your life can quietly display where your hope is anchored. Today, faithfulness may look small: telling the truth, forgiving someone, resisting temptation, praying again, serving without applause. Keep faithfully going. You are not home, not hopeless. Grace and peace are multiplied to you.
