Reflection: Mission starts before you move. Jesus tells His disciples to pray because the harvest already belongs to God, but workers still need to be sent. That means your first step is not guilt, pressure, or a rushed plan. Your first step is surrender. Begin with prayer. Ask God to give you His eyes for the nations and His heart for the people already near you. Pray for missionaries by name. Pray for unreached people groups. Pray for the neighbor whose car you see every morning, the coworker you usually hurry past, the family member you have stopped hoping for. Prayer slows you down long enough to notice that God is already working. You are not trying to start His mission. You are being invited into it. Today, let prayer move missions from an idea you admire to a burden you carry with love, faith, and expectation before God together.
Application Question: Who is one person nearby and one people group globally that you can begin praying for consistently this week?
