Reflection: Ruth and Naomi had food again, but God was doing more than helping them survive another week. That is easy to miss in your own life. You may be grateful for church, sermons, songs, friendships, and answered prayers, and you should be. Those are good gifts. But good gifts can become a stopping place if they never lead you closer to the Giver. Ruth could have stayed in the field and lived off Boaz’s kindness. Instead, Naomi saw that provision was pointing toward redemption. The grain was grace, but it was not the whole story. Ask God to show you where you have grown comfortable with “enough.” Not because He wants to shame you, but because He loves you too much to let you settle for spiritual survival when He is inviting you into deeper rest, surrender, and relationship with Him today. This is where true life begins today fully.

Application Question: Where have you been grateful for God’s provision but stopped short of pursuing deeper closeness with Him?
