Reflection: You may not think of yourself as someone being shaped, but you are. Long before you choose your habits, examples begin teaching you what matters. Paul tells Timothy to remember the sincere faith that lived first in his grandmother Lois and mother Eunice. Faith was not passed down only through formal lessons; it was seen, heard, and practiced in ordinary life. The same is true for you. God has likely used fathers, grandfathers, mentors, coaches, pastors, or steady friends to show you something about courage, patience, repentance, work, or prayer. Some examples were strong. Some were flawed. But today is an invitation to notice the fingerprints of grace. Give thanks for the people who helped point you toward Christ, even imperfectly. Then remember this: someone is also watching you. Your quiet faithfulness may become a lesson God uses in another person’s life, today and tomorrow, by grace.

Application Question: Who has helped shape your faith or character, and how can you thank God for them while also becoming that kind of steady influence for someone else?
