Reflection:
Jesus teaches you to ask for daily bread without shame. Your Father cares about real needs: food, strength, wisdom, provision, healing, and help for today. But the “give us” room was never meant to be the only room in the house. When you ask for bread, you are learning dependence, not entitlement. You are admitting that you are not self-sufficient, and that every good gift comes from the Father’s hand. This kind of prayer keeps your needs connected to relationship. You do not have to pretend you are fine, and you do not have to apologize for needing help. Still, Jesus is gently teaching you to want the Father more than the bread. Today, bring Him what you need, plainly and honestly. Then pause and remember: the greatest gift is not what He gives you. The greatest gift is that He gives you Himself. Trust His heart again today now.

Application Question:
What need do you need to bring honestly to the Father today, and how can you seek Him even more than the answer?
