Thursday: Safe With the Redeemer

Reflection: Boaz responded to Ruth with grace and integrity. He could have used the moment for himself, but he protected her, honored her, and promised to do what was right. That matters because the character of the redeemer determines whether vulnerable people are safe. Jesus is the greater Redeemer. He will not exploit your weakness, shame your need, or manipulate your trust. He covers what sin exposed. He pays what you could never pay. He gives an inheritance you could never earn. Sometimes surrender feels frightening because you wonder what God will ask, remove, or change. But Ruth 3 reminds you that redemption rests in the character of the redeemer. You can trust Jesus with what is most vulnerable in you. He is not only able to redeem; He is willing. The cross proves His heart before you ever bring Him your need today. You are safe under His wings today.
