Reflection:
Ruth’s commitment to Naomi is one of the most beautiful pictures of faithful love in Scripture. She does not offer a quick phrase and walk away. She gives herself. “Where you go I will go.” That kind of love costs something. It costs comfort, time, convenience, and control. You have likely needed someone like Ruth before—someone who stayed when life got complicated. But today, consider where God may be calling you to become that kind of presence for someone else. Faithful love does not always need perfect words. Sometimes it sounds like, “I’m bringing dinner Tuesday,” or “I’ll sit with you at the appointment,” or “You don’t have to talk, but I’ll be here.” Jesus loved you this way first. He did not love from a distance. He came near, entered your brokenness, and gave Himself for you. Now His love can move through you today, near someone hurting.

Application Question:
Who around you needs more than kind words right now, and what specific act of faithful love could you offer them this week?
