Reflection: Your witness is not what you say about Jesus. It is what people see Jesus doing in you. Peter tells wives that respectful and pure conduct may reach an unbelieving husband when words alone cannot. The same principle reaches every relationship. Your coworkers listen to your claims about faith, but they notice whether you are dependable. Your neighbors hear that you love Jesus, but they notice whether you are kind. Your family knows you attend church, but they experience whether you listen, apologize, and show honor at home. This doesn’t mean you must appear perfect. A sincere apology can display Christ more clearly today. Ask God to show you where your conduct has weakened your message. Then remember that change is not about managing appearances. It is about allowing the grace of Jesus to reshape your habits so that the people closest to you encounter His character through your life.
