Reflection: Ruth’s obedience was simple, but it was not easy. She had to leave the safety of what she already knew and step toward a future she could not control. That is often where faith becomes real. It is one thing to thank God for provision in the field. It is another thing to walk to the feet of the redeemer and ask for covering. You may already know the next step God is asking you to take. Maybe it is confession, forgiveness, baptism, generosity, joining a group, opening your Bible again, or finally surrendering an area you have kept protected. Obedience does not always feel dramatic. Sometimes it is just doing the next faithful thing. But small steps of obedience can become turning points of redemption. Ruth said, “All that you say I will do.” What would that kind of surrender look like for you today? Start there today fully.

Application Question: What is one specific step of obedience God has already made clear, and what has kept you from taking it?
