Reflection:
Ruth entered the field looking for leftovers, but God had already prepared more than scraps. Boaz noticed her, protected her, and spoke kindly to her. That matters because Ruth did not have power, status, or security. She was a foreign widow trying to survive. Yet God provided through someone she did not expect. Sometimes you may pray for God’s help while overlooking the people He has placed nearby. Help can feel uncomfortable because it requires humility. It means admitting need. It means receiving kindness without controlling how it comes. Boaz was not the source of grace; he was a servant of grace. God was the source. So pay attention today. A conversation, encouragement, offer of help, or wise word may not be random. What looks like coincidence may be God providing through an unexpected person, in an unexpected way, at exactly the right time. Receive it with gratitude and trust.
